§ 5. Clerk of the court.

  • The clerk of the circuit court of said city shall have and possess all and singular the authority, power and privileges, and be subject to the limitations, and shall discharge all and singular the duties provided by law for clerks of circuit courts in cities of the first class in this commonwealth. The clerk shall be elected at such times and for such terms as provided by general law.
